THE MUSIC OF MALCOLM C SEARLES
For heaven knows how many years I’ve wanted to create music of my own but, sad to say, I have absolutely zero musical abilities, and so all of the lyrics and melodies swirling around in my head have all remained there… until now. The advent of Ai music, whilst abhorrent to some (and I can perfectly understand their reasonings) has given the opportunity for folks like myself (those who can, at best, pick out the riff from Smoke On The Water on one guitar string) to put their music and ideas ‘out there’… finally !
Subsequently, and whilst (as I say) I can duly acknowledge those who simply can’t bring themselves to listen to this ‘created’ music, I am still immensely proud to offer up my creations to you. Yes, they ARE ‘performed’ and arranged by Ai, BUT… I personally wrote every word you will hear (along with the occasional ‘human’ collaborator), and I also oversaw the production (selecting which instrument, vocals etc), the mix-down from the multi-tracks, along with the final track editing myself . Therefore, I feel that I can justifiably claim that these are ALL MY SONGS ! So please, all I can ask of you is that you give them a listen, judge them for yourself and… hopefully, enjoy them !
